Which is Better, Part 2

I was looking for something to watch last night (really, I just wanted something remotely interesting on while I finished reading a book) and stumbled upon I Love the 70s on VH-1. I came in at the end of 1973 and watched 1974 and 1975 as well. I plan to catch the repeats of 1971, 1972, and 1973 as well as try to watch 1976-79.

While I was teenager in the 1980s and therefore loved the I Love the 80s{/i] series, I do have a soft spot for the 70s as well. I was in elementary school and junior high for that decade and I have vivid, specific memories of that time:

1.  Schoolhouse Rock (I just bought the DVD)
2.  Pet Rock (I had one)
3.  Pong (We played it for hours)
4.  Six Million Dollar Man and Bionic Woman (I wanted to be Jamie Sommers)
5.  Magic 8 Ball (I didn’t buy into it)
6.  Mood Ring (I never had one)
7.  The birth of SNL (I was too young to watch it)
8.  Land of the Lost (Watch out for those dreaded Sleestaks)
9.  Barry Manilow (Who didn’t love him then?)
10. Feelings (Ouch!)

I could go on...instead why don’t you watch the series for yourself. It’s hilarious with many laugh out loud moments. The commentary is what makes it - Mo Rocca and Hal Sparks are my favorites, I think.

So to answer the post title: which is better - the 70s or 80s?
