Dang.

I really wanted Petrozza to win.

Here’s why I think Ramsay picked Christina:

1. Her dinner service probably had better comments. Petrozza running out of the lobster streudel probably didn’t help his cause, although Bobby’s save with the lobster risotto was a good play.

2. She’s young and malleable. Ramsay sees a protege in her - he can teach her and turn her into a top notch chef. The drawback to Petrozza is that he wouldn’t really fit that mold - he’s older and more experienced. Imho, that would have made him the better choice, but Ramsay likes to teach.

3. She was the most consistent challenge winner.

4. She’s tough, as evidenced by how far she did get in the competition, and handles herself pretty well with Ramsay.

I totally wanted Petrozza to win it, though.

One note to the producers of HK - less recapping, more content. Why were we not given a chance to hear customer comments at the end? Why did we not get more of Ramsay’s thoughts on their menus, dining rooms, etc? The actual show didn’t start for about 8 minutes - we had 5 minutes of recap followed by 1 minute of credits and then 2 minutes of commercials. How about 1 minute of recap, followed by 1 minute of credits, followed by 2 minutes of commercials? Then you’d have 4 minutes to add new content that your viewers want to see.
