1. Is your hair naturally curly, wavy, or straight? Long or short? I used to say straight, but now that it’s longer it’s got a little wave to it if I let it air dry. When it’s short it’s stick straight. As for length, it’s long - just past shoulder length.
2. How has your hair changed over your lifetime? How hasn’t it changed. I’m not a trendy dresser, but I am a trendy hair-er. I get bored with my hair, so it changes a lot.
3. How do your normally wear your hair? Depends on the occasion. For work, I wear it down, nicely styled. On the weekend it’s usually in a ponytail or hidden by a baseball cap.
4. If you could change your hair this minute, what would it look like? I wouldn’t change it. I just got it cut a few weeks ago and I like it. It was all one length, I had some long layers cut in. It took a lot of weight off and gave it some extra body and bounce. I like it.
5. Ever had a hair disaster? What happened? Um...several. I cried, went back for a new cut to minimize the damage and then just waited for it to grow out. Fortunately, I have never had a bad perm (when I got them) or color disaster (despite being cheapo and doing that myself).

Today’s Friday Five
1. What’s one thing you’ve always wanted to do, but never have? Get married and have a family. But it’s not just up to me on that one.
2. When someone asks your opinion about a new haircut/outfit/etc, are you always honest? Probably not completely honest - it depends on who it is. I’ll find a way to be tactful about it.
3. Have you ever found out something about a friend and then wished you hadn’t? What happened? Yes. It was terrible not letting them know I knew. But I managed it and it eventually didn’t matter.
4. If you could live in any fictional world (from a book/movie/game/etc.) which would it be and why? Hobbiton because life is so much simpler. And I love the Hobbit-holes with round doors.
5. What’s one talent/skill you don’t have but always wanted? Hmmm, I’m pretty talented. I wish I were more athletic, just generally. I’ve always liked sports, but not to play.

Today’s Friday Five
The topic this week is LOVE. I don’t have that much experience, but here are my brief answers.
1. How many times have you truly been in love? Truly? I think once. I think I thought I was in love two other times. At least the potential for true love was there, but it was never cultivated.
2. What was/is so great about the person you love(d) the most? I’m not in love currently. However, the one I did love was kind, considerate, and generous. And by generous I’m not talking about money or gifts, but with himself to me.
3. What qualities should a significant other have? There should be a common belief system between a couple. Respect. Kindness. Strength. And he must be hot.
4. Have you ever broken someone’s heart? I’m not sure. A guy I dated in college dropped out after I broke up with him. But he was married a year later, so I don’t think he was that devastated.
5. If there was one thing you could teach people about love, what would it be? That love is the greatest gift and should be freely given without thought or restraint.
