I had this epiphany the other day at the Cooties‘ house, but didn’t say anything at the time. Then I casually mentioned it to my parents at dinner tonight and they thought it was a great idea. So here it is...and it’s for the Cooties, so the rest of you can talk amongst yourselves.

1. I think you should make the blue guest room with bath into your master bedroom. Yes, I know you have a king size bed. It will work with some creative furniture placement. Work with me. Jaynee already uses that bathroom and closet. Huck out some of the extra stuff you’re storing in the closet that you don’t really need and there will be room for Denis’ clothes in there too.

2. Move the kids into what is now the master bedroom. It’s a huge room - you guys don’t need that much room, but the kids will. You can separate the room into two distinct spaces for each kid and you’d have room to add the third you’re talking about. CootieGirl will be ready for a regular bed soon, then CootieBoy will be in her toddler bed and you’d have room for the crib in there too. Each kid would have a closet. And there would be plenty of play room for when they get older.

3. The peach room becomes your guest room. You’d be able to repaint (Mom said you’ve been wanting to do that). And your guests would use the burgundy bathroom.

Just a thought that flashed in my head Sunday morning when I first woke up. Take it or leave it.
