Quote of the Day
This got a hearty “Heh!” from me at lunch today when I saw in on TV.
When a reporter noted that Edwards was being described as “charming, engaging, a nimble campaigner, a populist and even sexy” and then asked “How does he stack up against Dick Cheney?” the president immediately responded, “Dick Cheney (search) can be president. Next?”
Thanks for the reminder [via the llama butchers]

Quote of the Day
Responding to the news that Jacques Chirac is a jerk, James at Outside the Beltway chimes in with this gem:
Heh.Sometimes, I wish we’d let the Germans keep France.

Quote of the Day
I don’t get to listen to much talk radio because I can’t get reception in my cubicle and the firewalls on our network prohibit internet streaming. So I was happy to hear a little bit of Rush Limbaugh on my drive home this afternoon.
He was talking about the UN-France-US-Iraq, about how France thinks that they need to have some say in the process, yadda yadda yadda. Rush’s response to that idea?
- Right, France is working on a surrender to the sun with this heatwave they’re having.
