We had a good weekend of rest and quiet and we’re both almost 100% back to normal after the Week of Sick. It was a lovely early spring weekend, too, which was nice. I love that first window opening of the spring, when all the trapped winter air in the house can be released and refreshed with the fresh outdoors smell. Sadly, I had to close the windows today - forecast of rain and temps topping 80 degrees means the A/C comes on in my house.

Saturday morning was lazy, although we did start the laundry. After lunch I was feeling a little restless so we went out to buy a bridal shower gift for CH and then to Wegmans for some slightly unneccesary grocery shopping. When we got home we made and ate dinner, then I think we watched Numb3rs from Friday that was recorded on the DVR.

Sunday was the early service at church followed by lunch with my parents. Then we went home where I napped on the sofa and then we played a good game of Scrabble. We were neck and neck for a while, and then I started getting no vowels. It’s hard to come up with words that don’t have vowels.
