PJ’s King Kong

I’ve little motivation to wax large about Peter Jackson’s attempt at remaking King Kong. What I will say is that I’m glad we didn’t waste the time or money to see it at the theater. Overall my opinion is meh. The bright spots were Naomi Watts’ performance, the scene with the dinosaur stampede followed by the scene where King Kong battled the t-rexes, and the end. By that I mean that it finally ended. That movie was way, way, way too long. Oh, and I liked Captain Englehorn and Hayes. What I hated was the overuse of Jesus’ name as an epithet. I think I’d almost rather have the F-bomb.

This one gets 2 stars out of 5.
