From Tuesday
This week’s This or That Tuesday
June 17: Reading
1. Newspapers or magazines? Neither. If I had to choose, I guess it would be magazines.
2. Books-on-tape or regular books? Regular books, although on a long drive audio books are great.
3. Paperback or hardcover? I like to own the hardcover, but prefer reading paperbacks.
4. Fiction or non-fiction? Fiction.
5. Sci-Fi/Fantasy or romance novels? I am a girl - romance.
6. Borrow from library or buy books (either new or used)? I prefer to own books, but I have no problem borrowing them from the library if I can’t spend the money. The point is to read the book, right?
7. Subscribe to magazines or buy on newsstand? I used to have subscriptions to a couple magazines. It’s cheaper than the newsstand.
8. Current best-sellers or classic literature? Current best-sellers. Although I like to read a classic every once in a while.
9. Read books once, or re-read favorites every so often? I have a few that I like to re-read. But I’m a one-timer for the most part.
10. Here in the U.S., we have two hot best-sellers...former First Lady Hillary Clinton’s memoirs, and the new Harry Potter book (coming out June 21). If you had to read one, which one...Hillary or Harry? Why? That’s easy - Harry Potter will be read by me. I have no interest in Hillary’s book. I’ve read the previous four HP books and loved them.
