Today’s Friday Five:

What one thing are you most looking forward to . . .

1. ...today?

Leaving work, which has been excruciatingly boring.

2. ...over the next week?

My trip to The Happiest Place on Earth where I’ll get to hang out with some missed and beautiful friends with whom I labored in the cold, snowy Northeast for the Lord and Young Life.

3. ...this year?

No one thing. I can think of a couple of specifics that shall remain unspoken for the moment. I am looking forward to (with a little trepidation) the week in which I shall babysit CootieGirl while her parents are doing the southern B-B-Q tour in May.

4. ...over the next five years?

Seriously? I have no idea. Additional little Cootie children for me to dote on. Beyond that I can’t think of anything.

5. ...for the rest of your life?

I live it one day at a time. My one life goal is to hear my Lord say, “Well done,” when I arrive in heaven.
