Time Wasting: Cooking Quiz Edition

You Are an Excellent Cook

You’re a top cook, but you weren’t born that way. It’s taken a lot of practice, a lot of experimenting, and a lot of learning.

It’s likely that you have what it takes to be a top chef, should you have the desire…

Are You A Good Cook?

Sort of true. I believe that I do have inate cooking abilities. Culinary school honed them. As my mother said - I learned in 9 months what it took her 30+ years to learn.

Could I be a top chef, maybe. Do I want to be a top chef? NO way. I love my office drone, paper shuffling, number crunching job.

  1. My score was an excellent cook as well, but I wouldn’t want to be a professional chef...own a tearoom? Maybe. Be like Paula Dean? Maybe. Be the very best at creating, blending, and selling tea? Definitely!  Make the most mouth- watering scones, cakes, cookies, muffins, tea sandwiches? Definitely! grin

  2. And write another cookbook? Definitely, plus write and compile a few more that are running through my head!

  3. Hmmmm. Did a politician write these assessments?
“You’ve got the makings of an excellent cook, and the desire to be one.
But right now, you’re just lacking the experience. You couldn’t be a top chef yet, but you could be an apprentice.”
