Random Post-Holiday Tuesday

Mom’s birthday dinner was nice. We surprised her with a few special friends who came over for cake. Poor Jesse was cranky all day and not his usual cute and charming self. He’s reached the stage of being aware of who strangers are and crying at them. I felt terrible that he wailed like he did when two men in particular tried to even talk to him. Fortunately, they handled it with much grace. Generally a good time was had by all - happy birthday, Mom!

This item is actually a long, long story that is now into week 7, but the sum up is that a witness has been calling daily, and now several times a day, about her payment that has not arrived. At this point I’m stumped about that too, so I have inquired to my HQ contact to find out why the payment has not gone out. I am not calling her back until I have some kind of answer because she accuses me of lying to her. Even with an answer I’ll still get yelled at. Something to look forward to!

I had a good day in sales at Mom’s neighborhood craft show. I was surprised at the amount I made. I expected to sell more than the one tea infuser that sold. Turns out that earrings were the big seller. So now I’m in the process of photographing/listing the items I made but didn’t list at Bead on a Wire before the SC show.

Am I the only one that thinks this is the best season of Dancing with the Stars?

Annie has stopped pooping in the crate. Well, she did poop in it yesterday, but she was in there for a long time while we were out. But we’re no longer getting morning poop in the crate, which is very nice.

We watched Firewall this weekend. It gets 2.5 stars out of 5.

  1. Sounds like your boy is growing up. Amazing how kids change from adorable sleeping-pooping machines to real people who think and have opinions. Have fun. It only gets better.
