  7. I wouldn’t go looking at the grammar as an indicator of anything. It could simply be bad grammar.

    Speaking of ... have you seen those Toyota ads where the names of the cars are made possessive (i.e., Corolla’s, Camry’s) instead of plural? Drives me batty every time it runs.

  8. Oh, yeah, I figured it was bad grammar, but it still begs the question. No wonder England is choosing to drop the apostrophe altogether, giving in to the stupidity of sign makers, or is it maker’s? grin
