I posted over at WC about Jesse’s real or imagined weight. Please go read that post. I’ll wait.

So I’ve looked at all sorts of growth charts and if he really does weigh 30-35 lbs at 15 months, then he’s off the charts for weight.

Am I nuts to be concerned? I can’t stop thinking about it. I’m a completely nutso mother.

I plan to weigh him in the morning to see if there’s a difference between evening “I’ve eaten all day” weight/morning “I’ve slept all night with no food” weight.

It’s just mind boggling.

And we’re measuring his height tonight so that I can check height-weight charts, too.

Augh. Help!

1. I just weighed Jesse on my scale and he weighs 26 lbs.  I don’t think I could schlep 35 lbs. of Jesse up the stairs!

3. Even if he does weigh 35 lbs, he’s really well proportioned, so I wouldn’t worry. (He’s not fat, in other words!) Then again, me telling a mom not to worry is laughable, since I’m sure I’d be the first one in line to freak out if it was Josh. Cause that’s what moms do. :)

4. Jen, you ARE a nutso mom.  Seriously.  The kid is awesome and looks fine. Whether he’s 26 pounds or 35 pounds - don’t worry about it if he’s in proportion.

5. Yes, I agree with Jaynee.  Don’t worry about the weight.  If he looks “normal” then he is fine.  You know he’s going to be tall and he’s probably just going through a growth spurt.  Relax.

10. And let me tell you, Beau was no lite weight himself when he was a kid (we have pictures!), he was a BIG baby/toddler! And he’s tall and thin now.
