My church is one of the satellite sites for the Willow Creek Leadership Summit every summer. Having attended two of those summits at Willow Creek, I can attest that they are great and I highly recommend them.

However, they are entirely mock-able as shown here.

1. Hey Jen, I’ve been following your blog ever since I stumbled upon it when Googling for “Fred Charles Coupleton” (still don’t have that mystery solved...). Anyway, yeah, the Leadership Summit is incredible. I’ve attended the last few years and volunteered to get the super discount. I’m looking forward to doing so again this year. What I love is the ability to bring my wireless laptop into the Great Room and participate in the chat and live blogs to connect with folks across the country, not just at our church. Amazing and very encouraging!

2. Adam, thanks for delurking to comment, my fellow FCCer. Fred Charles is a real dude in our church, although I’m not sure that’s his real name. Did you see him emcee the karaoke nights?
