It’s Not Even Summer Yet
BERMUDA HIGH OVER THE WESTERN ATLANTIC THROUGH MONDAY WILL BRING HOT AND HUMID CONDITIONS TO THE REGION ON WEST TO SOUTHWEST WINDS. HIGH TEMPERATURES ACROSS MOST OF NORTHERN AND CENTRAL VIRGINIA AS WELL AS THE BALTIMORE AND WASHINGTON METROPOLITAN AREAS WILL REACH THE MID AND UPPER 90S EACH DAY. A FEW LOCATIONS MAY REACH 100 DEGREES.
THE HOT TEMPERATURES COMBINED WITH HIGH HUMIDITY WILL CAUSE HEAT INDICES TO APPROACH 105 DEGREES THIS AFTERNOON. HEAT INDICES MAY APPROACH 110 DEGREES SUNDAY AND MONDAY.
Gah.
Beau told me it’s soupy humid out there already this morning. I hucked out some junk for the trash early this morning (Annie did wake me up at 5:30am so it seemed like a good time to sort through some boxes from the move last summer to clear out space for Jesse to roam down here) and Beau took it out to the deck to hold for Monday’s trash pick up. He said it’s gross and that’s saying something - he likes the heat.
