I’m Ready for My Close Up, Mr. DeMille

It may take a few minutes to show up since I just uploaded the video about 5 minutes ago.

X-posted at WC.

[LATER]: I started filming because he had been squealing in delight at Annie for several minutes while she licked the carpet under his feet. He was able to pet her for a bit since she was distracted by the licking, which he loved. I grabbed the camera to try to get that on video, but he caught sight of the camera and what you see is what we got from then on.

[LATER (Fri 7:15am)]: Title changed to correct the name in the title. I knew it didn’t look right, but it was early when I posted.

  3. Deville. You know. The guy who invented Cadillac commercials. The ones that Jesse is auditioning for in this video. wink

I always wonder if they recognize that cameras and camcorders are their cues to do…something.

Annie’s pretty caught up in the whole thing, isn’t she?

  4. Okay, he’s very cute, but there is no Jen in that baby. He’s all Beau. He’s also the quietest kid I have ever seen. Let’s hope he stays that way. We have loud kids. I guess he was trying to escape. Looks like he’s ready for some fun.

  5. Annie was focused on the spot she wanted to lick on the carpet - Jesse had spit up between his feet and some got on the carpet. Annie loves spit up.

I don’t know who Jesse looks like - I think he’s got to be a good blend of both of us.

  6. That video was too cute. Such fun to start my day: doting parents delighting in their baby, walk on by the dog and the most adorably animated baby I’ve seen in a while. Sweet.

  7. Drat those work internet filters—can’t see it, I’ll have to look on my own time!  grin

  8. Thanks, Barb.

Bev, it’s worth the wait. But I’m slightly biased.

  9. ADORABLE!  He really is so precious!  Our grandson was born on the 3rd of July, he is also a looker, but not so animated yet!  grin

  11. Thanks!  We babysat Saturday night so his mom and dad could go to a movie.  It was great already, although the “babysitting” consisted of holding him while he slept!  grin
