  2. There have been plenty of times when I have worked when super ill, so I figure it evens out. I remember when I had a 101 degree fever and was clearly congested and coughing and still attended a mandatory proposal writing meeting with my Kleenex box in hand. Talk about misery.

    Attempted to watch meteor shower once, but sky was completely overcast. Instead we watched a distant lightning show, and played the role of Uncle Alan to one companion’s daughters (ages 7 and 9) who clamored for my attention. Girls need the big guys in their lives - Dad most of all, but the more the merrier.

    Don’t own childhood toys, but I have my old Cub Scout scarf from about 1967.
