Greetings from Phoenix
1. The flight to Phoenix wasn’t horrible. The window seat next to me was empty, so I moved into that seat and was able to stretch my legs a bit better and didn’t crowd the dude in the aisle seat. We got to the hotel by about 8:30pm local time, so I thought I was only going to miss the first hour of 24 on Monday.
2. Not so, I didn’t realize that Phoenix TV runs on central time, so what I saw was the last 10 minutes of that night’s episode. And it turns out I forgot to set the DVR for a season pass, so it didn’t record on Monday night. I’ll see if I can watch it online after I get home.
3. The training is good if slightly boring.
4. I have no internet access on my laptop. I can’t figure out why, although I emailed our SA to let her know and she suggested I check the proxy settings. So I’ll do that (again, I did that this morning) when I get back to my hotel room.
5. I miss “my boys” more each day. Beau told me that Jesse asked for me at around dinner time last night - my usual time to arrive home from work. I love that he remembered that I was supposed to be home. Just two more days…
Class is starting, so I have to get to it.
