After a long absence, I was able to go to choir practice at church last night - it was good to be there; I had missed it. I left early so that I could go to bed on time because I have worship band practice tonight because I’m on this Sunday. I can’t leave early tonight, so it was important for me to get a good night’s sleep last night. And then tomorrow we have a BBQ with our small group.

Also, the Cooties are heading up here later today for a wedding that Jaynee is in on Saturday. This means that on Saturday, Beau and I will head over to my parents to rescue Marmie from the kids, who will be very happy to see Uncle Beau. They adore him.

Case in point: Jaynee called soon after they arrived in South Carolina and at some point she asked CootieGirl if she wanted to say Hi to Aunt Jen. I talked to her for a minute and then she asked, “Is Beau there?” Precious. He talked to her for several minutes. So I know where I stand with the kid.
