Dog Watch: 3:15 AM
The barking started at 3:15am this morning.
Joy.
3:00 for me. Flight simulator until 4:30.

That’s dreadful.
Posted by beth on 06/18/08 at 06:43 AMDad suggested that you might look into a nursing home for dogs ~ seriously.
Posted by on 06/18/08 at 09:26 AMLike we can afford that. I’m taking her to the vet for her regular check-up on Friday. I’ll ask her about options.
Posted by jen on 06/18/08 at 09:52 AMIf not a nursing home, maybe sleeping pills so she won’t wake up until a reasonable hour?
Posted by on 06/18/08 at 10:18 AMDefinitely, ask the hard questions.
Posted by on 06/18/08 at 10:19 AMBelieve me, I’m going to be straight with the vet about this. Short of putting her down, I want a good solution. I’m on board with sleeping pills if she thinks that will work (she says, hoping the cost won’t be exorbitant).
Posted by jen on 06/18/08 at 10:30 AMSleeping pills? What? She doesn’t have trouble sleeping--we do! @#$&^$ She’s sleeping quite soundly right now. She sleeps all day long.
How about amphetamines to keep her awake?
Posted by on 06/18/08 at 11:41 AMThis is why I’m asking the vet.
