So all weekend we’ve been hearing the news story about Hillary’s retelling of the pregnant woman whose baby died and then she died, all because of a lack of healthcare and that the story as she has been telling it is not quite true.

Ah, Hillary and her lies…

But wait!

Turns out Hillary got the not-quite-true story from a sheriff’s deputy, caught on camera, telling the story just as Hillary retold it. Now here’s where I think Hillary got into trouble - they didn’t vet the story before she started to retell it. Because what I heard Hillary say was almost verbatim what the dude told her. So in this instance she was trying to get it right and good for her. But her staff failed her, because with a few phone calls they could have verified the truth of this tragic tale.

I never thought I’d see the day that I defended Hillary Clinton, but in this instance I don’t think it’s quite fair to call her a liar on this one.
