I notified our worship leader that I was ready and able to rejoin the worship team if he wanted me to come back. He welcomed me back graciously.

I am scheduled to sing on the July 4th holiday weekend. I’m looking forward to it - it’s been more than a year since I sang anything more than during church and occasionally to Jesse or along with a music channel on TV.

Fortunately the set he has planned includes songs I already know and one new song that we have sung in church a couple of times already. Time for me to spend a little time practicing in the car in between audiobook discs, I think.

1. Let me understand this. You took a year and a half off or more from the worship team and finally rejoined them at the same moment you are trying to conceive another child, which would put you off the team again in less than a year. Hmmmmmm....what?

   Actually, I noticed a trend in the worship teams at church that led me to believe that he could use an extra voice. I’m available.

   Also, I can sing when pregnant. I did it before.
