Jesse’s becoming much more alert now that he’s nearly 6 weeks old. He was very interested in checking things out today and spent much of the afternoon awake.

1. Our observation is that gestation is about 18 months: 9 months in and 9 months out.  Wait until you see the sheer degree of “personhood” that suddently seems to happen when he’s about 9 months old.  It’s amazing.

2. Should be fun when he reaches 18 months - that’s when we have the big family vacation to Disney World.
