Chaos

Something I’m still adjusting to in my sharing of a house with two other people, one of whom is a nearly 9 year old child, is the chaos that reigns at times. I went from living completely alone save for Annie-the-dog, to sharing a house with another woman, a 9 year old girl, 2 high strung dogs, a cat, two chirpy birds, and a hamster. Not to mention the invisible mouse that lurks somewhere.

Oy vey!

So I arrived home and as I was leashing up Annie I heard Nee yelling frantically at their dog - it was clear that the dog was going after or had something she shouldn’t. I took Annie out for her piddle time and then went upstairs to see how I could help ECD with the groceries she had brought in and what all the ruckus was abou. Turns out that one of the birds got out of the cage and the dog was trying to get her. Nee was crying hysterically, of course - gulping crying.

And the TV is on the blink again. So it’s been a great evening.
