I’m a bit under the weather today - I’m pretty sure as a direct result of my excursion to McDonald’s yesterday. I was up most of the night. So I’m staying home today, but I’ll be around the web periodically, I’m sure.

I woke up at 4:46am, not because that’s the time I have my alarm clock set to, but because I could hear the sounds of my precious dog attempting to . Good morning, Jen!

I spent the next couple of hours following her around with towels for her to on. Meanwhile, I was having my own digestive issues (the result of eating Ben & Jerry’s last night, I think - too rich and too much lactose).

I decided to stay home until Annie eats something and keeps it down. She did eat a scrambled egg and went under the bed. But I just went into the living room where I discovered that she had d that up.

Poor thing.

On an unrelated note, I defragged my hard drive and my computer is running so much better now. It was long overdue and took over an hour to complete.

UPDATE: Half of the post I typed originally somehow magically disappeared when I clicked on the “submit” button. Weird. This update is to replace it.

UPDATE (1:16pm): We both just woke up a bit ago. I went out to watch Condi Rice vs 9/11 Commission, Annie followed. We were snuggled on the sofa and I eventually dozed off. I woke up to the sounds of crunching in the kitchen (Annie eats!) and Bob Kerrey asking questions but not letting Condi Rice actually answer them.
