I managed to fast forward through enough recorded shows to squeeze in these two last night, too.

AI5: I watched the guys from Wednesday and pretty much agreed with Simon on all of the performances. Taylor Hicks was awesome. Ace was really good and I think he did that song very well, although he is not my favorite - too pretty. I continue to love Elliot Yamin and I disagreed with Simon’s comments on his version of that song - I thought it was an interesting arrangement of a Journey Bryan Adams song that I hated way back when.

I caught last night’s boot off show and was pleased with the two guys who were dropped. I was also pleased with the two chicks going home. Bo Bice was terrible, imho - off key for most of the song.

Survivor: How can you not love La Mina? Makes you wonder why they don’t do better on challenges since they all get along so well. Casaya is a train wreck and I really wish Shane would be voted off.
