So my office is the central cooling point for our building. What’s weird is that the entirety of our office space is pretty temperate during the year - in the winter it is warm and in the summer it is cool. Those who spend the day in the squad room complain that that area gets too warm and it is warmer than my box, but it’s not overly warm, imho. However, my office is always cold. Always.

This morning they turned on the air conditioning - the temperature here is supposed to be in the mid-80s. So where it was cold because for some reason the heat blows cool air in my office last week, it is that level of cold that smells funny today. Does that make sense? Maybe it’s me.

And it is why I wear the same thing to work all year ‘round. Sweaters even on the hottest days of summer. Because I work in an ice box.
